#SSAmazingAchievements 04/09/2017 Lots of Things

Sitting here wondering what to write about for this, I realised that there were many things the kids have done over the holiday that could be classed as achievements. Sir enjoyed a day out at the local castle, given that it was baking hot that day and we had to queue, he did really well. He’s been asking for things he wants instead of just throwing his toys in a strop because he hasn’t got what he didn’t ask for! He’s been dressing himself of a morning, he wore his pants after we’d been swimming on holiday, he was enjoying the playgrounds and even interacted with a couple of the other children, something I’ve been told he does at school but I’d never seen. Today I had Il Divo on in the car and he was singing along to Amazing Grace šŸ˜€

Madam has been playing Lego Lord of the Rings on the PS3. It’s a complicated game with lots of puzzle solving to do. She’s been coping really well with her ankle splints. On holiday she was ordering her own meals in the restaurants, she swam up to the deep end of the pool with Hubby and she enjoyed the playgrounds too. She is looking forward to starting a new school in a couple of weeks – more about that after it happens.Ā  At horse riding they went on a ride outside and Madam really enjoyed it.

And a special shout out to Hubby, who managed to operate the washing machine whilst I took Madam horse riding hehehe he was supervised by Sir šŸ˜€

Hope everyone has enjoyed the holidays, Madam is back tomorrow and Sir on Wednesday šŸ™‚

  1. It sounds like there has been lots of progress. I think when they are at home for six weeks we really get the chance to see these things. We felt the same here, small things but big changes.

Thanks for linking up with Small Steps Amazing Achievements
