Word of the Week 07/04/2017 Peaceful #WotW

After all the recent hoohaa this week has been very very peaceful.. not least because Madam hasn’t been here for most of it! Not that she’s noisy or anything… *ahem*

She’s been on a three night residential trip with her school, so it’s just been me, Hubby and Sir. It has been odd without her here, in the same way it was odd when Sir went on his trip. It’s also been very peaceful.. too peaceful to be honest! Yesterday I had the entire day to myself after Sir went out, it felt strange not to have a school run to do! Hubby was out at a work related thing till late so the evening was peaceful too.

Today is not quite so peaceful as Sir has the day off, he broke up for Easter yesterday. But it’s still quieter with only one of them here.

Peace will be well and truly broken later this afternoon when she comes home with a case full of washing 🙂 We’ve all missed her, Sir especially who has been without his partner in crime! I shall miss the peace though.. LOL!

  1. I’m glad you’ve had a peaceful week. I hope your holiday manages to provide you with some peaceful moments too xx

  2. Oh isn’t it strange when one child is away. I keep telling myself that this is what it would be like with just two children. Can’t help missing them. I’m glad you enjoyed your peace. I’ve only just got through my mountain of washing after one got back at the weekend. #wotw

  3. Ahh! The peace is nice but when one of mine is away I do find it too quiet. I hope your girl has had a good time.

  4. It does sound a very peaceful week although I’m sure that by now with both children home, it’s anything but! I hope your daughter enjoyed her trip away 🙂 #WotW
