Word of the Week 17/03/2017 Meetings #WotW

We have had a busy week this week with lots of meetings both at school and at home so to speak. On Tuesday night there was a meeting about Madam’s residential trip which is in a couple of weeks. We got to know where they are going, what they will be doing, what they have to take and what forms we need to fill out.

Yesterday was her Parents Evening, that was enlightening both for us and her teacher, especially when I asked why she hadn’t brought any reading/spellings/times tables home.. the teacher was very surprised. Turns out they were all in her school drawer! LOL! they are at home now and I intend to go through them with her at the weekend. She is doing very well though.

After that we had our finance man come round and just let us know how everything is.. always a joy.. LOL!

Today we went back to Madam’s school (again) to see her class doing science experiments. The whole year group went out onto the playground and watched as mints were dropped into bottles of cola 😀

Hubby has a lunch meeting today (it’s all right for some..) but in fairness we did sneak out to lunch yesterday whilst the kids were at school hehehehe

hehehe. My youngest is known for hoarding things in her school drawer.

I always get panicky when faced with meetings! It’s good to hear Madam is getting on well .

  4. I have one of those hoarders in our house too – we go into school and I make sure she empties it once in a while. Its amazing the things I find in her school drawer!
