I had Sir’s end of year report and parents evening on Tuesday and I am not afraid to say that I am extremely proud of my young man.
He has settled in far more quickly than anyone, including his teacher dared to hope, he is popular, he has made new friends, he knows everyone in school and everyone knows him.
He is toilet trained at school, he loves to help the teacher set up the lessons, he can read – although we’ve suspected that for some time- he joins in with everything and is working on expressing how he feels.
He loves maths, he now goes into assembly and sits at the front instead of at the back by the door. His teacher is most upset that he won’t be in her class come September, however she will have him for PE. He has made excellent progress in all his lessons. Apparently his tea making skills are the stuff of legend in Forest School 🙂
When they go back in September he will be in Year 8 😮 I hope he continues to enjoy school as much as he has this year.
