Each morning, Madam goes into her support class for want of a better word, where she learns her maths, English and reading. It is for kids like her, who need focus on what they are doing and more individual attention. There are children in there from years 3-6 and they all have a need of some sort or other. In the afternoon, she goes to her Year Group class.
This week however, she has had to spend all day in her Year Group because of the older children doing their SATS. She wasn’t happy on Monday morning but I have to say, the rest of her class were genuinely excited that she would be joining them all week 😀
It seems she need not have worried, because she’s had a great week! her teacher modified the lessons slightly so that she (and the others from her class that go to the support class) could get the best out of it. Of course her wonderful ‘buddy’ Mrs B. was with her so she still had support. She’s really enjoyed herself by all accounts and I’m very proud of her.
