“If only he could tell us what he wants so we wouldn’t have to guess” how many times have I said that..
Well be careful what you wish for, because this weekend Sir has done exactly that, and naturally it wasn’t what we wanted to hear. He has decided he no longer likes going horse riding and made it very clear he didn’t want to go today.
“No horse riding thank you, stay home and play with my tablet” 😦
Every gentle attempt at persuasion has failed to change his mind, even Madam had a go but the response was the same “No horse riding thank you”
So I took Madam and left Sir at home with hubby. I’m hoping he’s just tired and that after a week at home, next Saturday he’ll want to go again. But if he doesn’t well then we will have to respect his wishes, after all he is as entitled to change of heart as any one else, even over something he loved doing.
Whilst it makes me sad, I am also kind of happy because he’s never made such a clear statement over a like or dislike before. It shows his speech has improved again and that he is able to express how he feels a little better.
