##SSAmazingAchievements 23/1/2016 Horse Riding

We have been taking the kids horse riding every Saturday morning since the start of last years six week holiday. Neither of them has particularly progressed but they both love it. For the past couple of lessons, Sir has been riding Thomas instead of Benny. We think this might be because Benny is a VERY laid back horse and Thomas might make Sir have to do a little bit of work 😀 as both the horse and Sir are content just to walk round the riding school and not work if they don’t have to!

Madam rides a variety of horses, today she had Lozzie, who is not a small horse, I think she is one of Madam’s favourites.

Madam spends most of her time in a dream world and has a tendency not to listen.. but today she was paying attention! she made Lozzie come to a halt on her own and got her moving again 🙂 a small step but an important one!

  1. Horse riding is no mean feat, so for her to be able to gain control and take her horse from walk to halt & back again is a good improvement. My daughter is MAD about ponies so we’ve had a lot of good and bad days, sometimes her sometimes the horses!
    Well done Madam

I love horses and riding them is a skill in itself. Fantastic progress from Madam, I’m glad they are both enjoying it. I really hope to take Ethan when he is older.

Thanks for linking up with Small Steps Amazing Achievements :0)
