#SSAmazingAchievements 30/10/2015 Patience

Patience is not Sir’s strong suit and especially not when he’s tired and hungry.. so on Monday night, when we were sat in a hotel restaurant waiting for our food, I was fully expecting a meltdown..

The restaurant didn’t open until 6:30pm – a full hour after we would normally eat. We had been out having fun all day and so we were all hungry. We ordered our food and waited.. and waited. In fact in total we waited nearly an hour and a half…

Many apologies from the staff and manager. Explanations given that Sir was autistic and short on patience, eventually our food arrived. The expensive bottle of wine we’d drunk and the four J20’s the kids had between them were all taken off the bill by way of apology.

Sir remained unhappy but patient throughout and I was very proud of him.

The following night we were served an awful lot quicker 😉

  1. Well done Sir, completely understandable if he had had a meltdown, D is governed by her tummy so she would have been equally as unhappy – if not a lot worse.
It was an achievement to get him back the next night too.
Thanks for linking up with #SSAmazingAchievements

I feel your pain with this, my husband also gets moody when not fed on time ;0). I’m so glad it didn’t end in a meltdown. I had to laugh when you said the next night you got served quicker x
