#SSAmazingAchievements 8/7/2015 Sailing Award #FragileXtraordinary

I have told you before I think about how much Sir loves the “boats” his class go to on a Monday. I may also have told you how we were given a photo of him sailing a boat on his own.

Well, on  Tuesday, Sir came home with a badge, certificate and rosette to say he had achieved “Entry” level sailing knowledge from RYA Sailability!

Proud doesn’t even come close to describing how we felt 😀 If you had told me even this time last year he would be sailing a small boat on his own I would have laughed at you. It just goes to show how much his confidence has improved.

RYA Sailability courses help thousands of disabled people take to the water every year. You can read more about it HERE

That’s fantastic. What a great club. I’m so glad that he is able to take part in something he enjoys x

  2. That is brilliant! I’m so pleased for you all. It is amazing when something like this, that takes a lot of self-confidence is achieved, it’s definitely a case of so much potential with the right environment.
Thanks for linking up with #SSAmazingAchievements 🙂
